Our Makerspace program is designed for students 1st-7th grade to learn how to use recycled materials to create artwork that is displayed throughout the community. From plastic bottles to chicken wire, from old fabric to twisted yarn, our kids get to work with the spectrum of mediums to create beauty throughout our community. Our kids learn to...
-
Create beautiful pieces of art
-
Develop strong interpersonal relationships
-
Respect authority and structure
-
Work hard and play hard
We want your child to reach their full potential, not only as an artist, but as a member of our Chester community. We are committed to treating your child with patience, love and respect while also challenging them to be the best version of themselves. Even though many of our students struggle with behavioral issues, we know that each student is worthy of respect and love. Our goal is to partner with you to help them overcome obstacles that they face to achieve their dreams.

Where: The Chester Cultural Arts & Technology Center, 2300 W 4th St. Chester, PA 19013

"But my child isn't incredibly gifted artistically!"
That's okay! Our job is to help them learn to do art, just like kids have to learn math or science... even if it isn't easy for them.
